I have two of the older designs of this set. The last two were very much the same in structure, but this is a clear update of them. One was new, the other built from a box of Lego that I bought. They have the aesthetic of 90s vans, but this one, it is very up to date! On first opening, it seems quite expansive. The four pappy-bags are accompanied by a hefty instruction book and some STICKERS! I waited for this to come down in price, and managed to get it in the Amazon Sale for £16.99. The original price is at £24.99, so this was a shocking saving, and made the set all that much better.

By the end of the first bag, the structure is solid and houses some nice details like doors covering the leisure battery and the water hook-up points. It is considerably bigger than the previous two, too. As I approach bag number three, it is quite the set, and built so well. This is an incredible upgrade from the old style ones, with a sense that it is more rugged for young hands to play with. Absolutely fantastic!

The whole build is great and would absolutely recommend this to anybody, older or younger! It has great play potential with a keen display ideal, too. Just the interior is an upgrade. The bunks are fab, but I love the full coffee maker and sliding door to the loo. Once I had finished, the instructions made me aware of one other cool feature. When you take the papoose from the father’s neck, you can hook it on to the scaffold behind the passenger space and it becomes a car-safety-seat. What a joy. Grab this, and if you end up paying the full price, I still don’t believe that you’ll be disappointed!

First Impressions – It’s great that they have updated the campers. Another fun build with great playability!
