A quick journal about the bees that are showing up in this new Spring season. I noticed that Bumbles are flying around us and there are even butterflies showing up. The weekend, as I write this, saw the clocks go forward. This is my favourite time of the year, as the light returns and the warmth arrives to give us hope and clarity. It is also the time to find new life struggling.

This little bee was laying on the table, outside of my back door, and I tried to give it a small sugar kick. This didn’t work and the little fuzz, was lost. We know how important it is for our pollinators to be protected and enabled to continue their vital work. When I see this, it makes me sad. Just a thought, but one that we should all think about and do our best to help, when we can. So long, little buddy.
