Since the inception of the workshop, I have been grabbing secondhand tools and furniture to fill it out. A few months ago, I picked up an incredible piece of kit from Kathy’s. I have seen these before, but at a hefty price tag. It is essentially a flat-pack in a box, it would never have been viable at a £70-£80 outlay.

This one set me back £6, and is brand new. It is still sealed in the box, ready to be assembled and fitted. For all it’s purpose, it is as if I have bought it from Amazon. I love a bargain and know that you can find great items, withought spending all your cash, as long as you bide your time. You can buy cheaper ones for as low as £30, and these would be more viable. I just so happen to have picked up a higher-end one. Side-by-side, I doubt there is much difference. They are both touted as charging stations, so I am guessing that the plan is put your tool’s battery chargers on the sheves, and then store the bodies on the underside.
As a convenience, this is great and I will stick it on the wall, as soon as I can. This week has been a busy workshop week, with adding electric and fitting the Echo Dot and security camera, now complete. I have even cut on the band saw; that was very pleasing. One thing that I think is important to note is that the name is rubbish! How long did it take to come up with ‘Toolganize’?
