Having access to Apple+, gives me all of the joy of Apple Arcade, and thus, some full-on games for my phone. For the past year, yes year, I have been claiming the daily reward, but not playing, Bloons TD6 on my iPhone. Every morning, I would start the app, then press the chest, and see the next offering.
This meant that I had earned the following:
- Approximately $20,000 (In-game use…sadly!)
- Many, many, specialist monkies.
- Additional boosters to my gameplay, like docks or jetty for battleships.
Mmmmm, that’s about it. It began, becuase I am patient to the extreme. I don’t care about the five minutes, every day, that was lost, as I wanted the answer to one question:
What happens if you claim it for one-whole year?
Well, I now have the answer…nothing! It just carries on! No fireworks, no thumbs-up and no note from the devs. I was quite saddened by this. But nevermind, it is what it is…the saddest part being that I won’t likely play it, now. Even though I have 20k to spend on it, I can’t be bothered…guess I’ve looked at it too many times!
