For decades wew have been given some incredible devices that save us time. The advent of the automatic washing machine was a gem for all thos that were tasked with the domestic chores tha befit the household. I am very keen on the tumbledryer. It’s a simple ‘white-good,’ but offers me the lack of wet clothing lying all over the house. This is a sight that I really do not like! The other fantastic item, is that of the dishwasher. This was such a luxury in early times, but is now so much more accessible and save SO MUCH time!
This is one of those posts that is needed to for giving credit to the unsung machines in out lives. In this case, it is something that stops having to do the vile task of scrubbing those plates. When they are well maintained, they are just fabulous. Keeping them clean is a chore, but pales in comparison to the hardships that this box takes away from us. We have become quite efficient at leaving these to do their jobs. We walk away and know that they will do what we need them to do. I don’t believe it is safe to leave a tumbledryer to do it’s thing, as in, I will never leave the house with it on, but the dishwasher is another thing. I am more than happy to let it do it’s automaton duties for me. They are unappreciated, or more to the point, they are taken for granted. Just stop using them and see how it all falls apart around you!
