Gumtree occasionally comes through. I managed to get this vac, from near my home, for £20. They retail at £50-£60, depending on the current sales. As I have Einhell tools, anyway, I have a few batteries, so I am good to go. I will, at some point, get a dedicated cell for this.
The plan is to use this for dust extraction in the workshop. With it being portable, I can move it between tools. I find that some woods give so much dust, that it can be choking, so this is a good investment. With a suction power of 90mbar, this will do just fine for individual tool hook-up.
In addition, it will also suck up water. Great for pulling dirty liquid out of a cleaned sofa, etc. The other attribute that I noticed, was that it can be switched to blow. This can be useful in workshop environments when clearing debris. I am quite pleased with this pickup, if it sucks, I’ll let you know!
