What you see before you is my latest find. A tin duck that dates from the 50s or 60s, that was made in Japan. I have found little about the K brand, but they are well know in history for these types of toys.

What needs to be done:
- Repair the one wing that no longer flaps
- Check the running gear and repair the wind-up mechanism
- Grease up the gears
I may also decide to touch-up the face, as this has worn. It is in otherwise great condition. Working, it has a value of £20-£25, as of 2024. Boxed, they fetch upwards of £90. To me, it was £10, with a small amount of work. I am looking forward to sorting this out, I will write a ‘Fix’ post, once I am done.
