I have to be honest, I only picked this up because I liked the box and often buy Meccano to add to my fabrication parts. It makes for a great way to form a bracket or structure when needing to fix other toys. The box itself is amazing. As I suspected, it is super strong and made to a very high standard. Even though I will be adding it all to the parts drawer, the box will still be used for my Dremel bits.
As a set, it is quite excellent. I picked this one up for £5. Other than the cardboard packaging having been opened, the parts are all in their bags. It has never been used. The clips on the box have clearly been opened only once. It is crisp, and in this state would still hold the value of at least £15 from a toy-dealer. What a gem. I like that this is compact, and you can split the box-tray up into sections. If your kid likes building with small tools, for which are included in these sets, then this is fantastic. Such fun!
