In the past, flowers were a great sentiment. Loved ones would be overjoyed by the gift of such a pretty bunch. They have been the calming effect for relationships, all over the world. My question is, how do they fit in the modern age? Both Steph, and myself, have a love for the Lego Botanicals. They are a great hommage to that of those beautiful flowers, but these ones last a lot longer. They are used, like the old ones, to create colour in our homes, or allowing the outside, to come in.

This post is about those old ones. I grew up with Daffodils in my mother’s kitchen, something that I do, now. I adore the smell of them, a quality that my Lego dafs, can’t meet. Of all the flowers in the world, these are my favourite. What’s yours? You can’t deny the attractiveness of a tulip, a rose, or a sweet-pea. With my memories including dafs, I feel that they have such a prominent outlook, for me, is the meaning of them, the closeness to lighter nights and the joy of Spring. Just something to think about.
