For the Love of Stickers!

Okay, okay, okay! As somebody whom despises the stickers in Lego sets, I have such fond memories of collecting stickers, for an album, as a kid. I remember football stickers being swapped in the playground, Star Wars stickers being bought, trying to get as many as you could. At that point, a pack was only 20p, but even at 90p in 2025, I still think it’s quite viable for children to enjoy building up a picture book.

I noted something after I wrote this: Unless I missed something, the multi-pack is £4.99, with single packs being 90p, each, this makes them a little over 83p, each. The ten pack is £8.99! This means that the packs are a smidgen under 90p, with the bonus of a limited edition picture. Is that worth it?

I have just got my hands on a new Panini Super Mario Sticker Book. I have become quite disconnected from the sticker collection hobby, but feel the need to build this one up. The nice colours of the games are well adapted to the album, with there being sticker multi-packs in the shops, too. I wonder if there is someone I can swap with, it will help to grow the collection, especially as the 90p bills, add up! Do you have a memory of collecting stickers? At one point there was a sticker album for everyone. I just love that Panini are still making them, and children still have this simple pasttime available to them!
