Heads-Up

What is it that makes a Lego Minifigure so great? Let’s face it, the changeable head is cool, but it’s not always been that way. Early heads only had the smily face, with the beady eyes staring into your soul. We now have many different faces that can be interchanged. Thinking about it, I have noticed a potential problem. Although it is great that we have a distinct look, for each gender, etc. The original face had no specifics, it was a minifigure, that is all.

It’s a bit picky, but as a child, I only knew the basic face. It’s the one that is still considered to the staple of Lego, and used in their graphcs, to this day. Let’s face it, though, it’s great that we can have a diverse City, with different people, wandering about the streets. As we have moved on, we have created a better space for all of us, Lego is following suit, and this is always going to be an agreeable direction.
