May 4th! That Sounds Familar

This day comes around so quickly. I am always bombarded with emails from Lego showing me the latest Star Wars sets. But what does it mean?Is it a commercial grab exercise or a way to celebrate a great story? Let’s face it, the financial gains are not to be ignored, but I want to think on the positive!

Star Wars has been in my life since Day 1. Episode 4 had been out just over a year by the time ‘little-me’ arrived in the world, so it was ingrained right from the start. When Empire came out in 1980, I were very young, but the toys and love for the galaxy in distant space was cemented. When the reworked updates arrived in the 90s, I went to see them so that I watched A New Hope, and also gained a memory of seeing Empire, on the big screen.

4th May gives you the chance to be in that galaxy and love what you love. If that’s Episode 8, then so be it. But even with the griping about the modern story telling, just appreciate it for what it is and ignore the ramblings of online beakies. Grogu might be a bit of a crowd puller, but Din Djarin is epic,

May 4th be with you…always.
