The first thing we always notice about Duplo, is the stunning colours! At £3, this was a great find, and, it’s complete! I am going to just say that I love this, so much, I am going to display it. This is not normal, as Duplo goes into storage for a later date. The three holds in the trailer are also filled with four pairs of coloured, four-studded, blocks. I would like to see the driver have a better seat than what appears to be a garden-chair!

It was already built, but as it is for little-ones, I think it’s fair to say that it wasn’t worth a break-down and rebuild. The graphics on it a sweet, with there being only a thin layer of dust on it, I will be good as new with feather brushed over its yellow surface. I like how the rear has a hinge-point. This would allow children to create a trailer with the standard train-chassis. In fact, you could make a fab road-train!

This is one of those used sets that has been played with, but not badly treated. It’s not bitten or scratched. If you a find old stock, it is £14.99, new. I believe this was at a good price for a child’s first foray into a smaller truck and one they can ride on. Although it is retired on Lego’s website, you do find them for around £10 on eBay. A definitely average price, new, but bargain for what I paid! I can just see a youngling moving goods around the lounge, dropping off cargo. What a joyous time!
First Impressions – A truck for little hands. It’s epic!
Price-Point – Average (I paid only £3, for it!)
Time to Build – 40-50 Minutes
Score: 9/10
