I have found another Juniors set in the ‘Find’ pile. I am quite fond of these. This is now a retired product, but at the time it sold for £19.99. I feel that this was average for what you get. It would provide some incredible playtime for younger builders. I paid £8 for this used set, with only one, tiny, piece missing.

Even though it was part-built, I was able to investigate the build with the instructions and the extras that were needed. One thing that stood out, was the difference in the cars. Scorpion’s vehicle is built with bricks, from the wheels up. Spider-man’s is all made upon a full car-chassis. The designs make this apparent, but it is unusual to not just use the same base, for each, then create around it. Part of me feels that this is a ‘consecutive build’ issue for young ones, but at the same time, it makes for fresh builds, twice, in one set.

I like this. It offers the kids a chance to play a goody and baddy, in a set that is easier to build, and keep it all together. I have noticed a lot of sets that use this ‘clip-together’ option. This one has hooks that seemingly attach to other sets. I like that you can build upon it, making a larger battle space for Spiderman to counter his enemy’s attacks. Grab this if you see it in the wild, it’s quite a joy!
First Impressions – A sweet little set for younger builders! It’s all about the play!
