We have another cheap find. This set is now retired, but was steal at £3. I found it some time ago, having got my hands on a few of the Minecraft sets. This one is like many of them; it is basic and better used as an extra space for larger sets. The figures are cool, my favourite being the litte duck.

When new, it would have been £8.99, a price that is not away from the average for this kind of build. You can’t really expect too much for a cheaper set, but it would have made any young child happy as a party gift. The build is very quick, with the usual few plates held together by a mount of parts to represent the scenery. There is a section that when pressed will eject a section of the dirt blocks; likely set for the creeper to go pop!

For the price that I paid, this is just a bit of fun. It’s a few more parts to add to my other Minecraft collection. As a player of Minecraft since the early days, it was inevitable that I would get my hands on some of them, or at least I would grab them when I saw them at the charity shop. If you see it for less than £5, get it for the eager builder, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed; if it’s any more than that, don’t bother!
First Impressions – Another Minecraft accessory playset, nothing special.
