Look at this cover! As is customery for picking up used sets, or anything for that matter, if it has a plane, boat, or a robot, I’ll pick it up. This one is like a Gundam copy, set to battle on land, sea, or in the cosmic arena. Like other times, the ‘3 in 1‘ builds are great due to the choice that you have. It gives you the options of building what you want, but also bridging the chance to just go for it. The basic bricks are what manages to achieve this.

It’s not the longest of builds, but has enough to keep the average builder, busy for a good hour, plus more when you build the other ones. It’s not going to win any awards, but any kid would surely enjoy this as a gift, or if you come across one in a donate box, with pocket money. I would say that the used price that I paid was above average and not likely to be much less than when it was new. My biggest qualm would be that the back is incomplete. It is flat and boring, a little bit of greebling would make all the difference; it would only require a few extra pieces. Besides that, the instructions feel rushing. There’s more than the normal amount of brick placement on each page. It is what it is, as a gift, it would be enjoyed, I have no doubt.

First Impressions – Would make a great gift for a kid’s party, but is both, basic, and rushed. Strange!
Price-Point – Above Average
Time to Build – 30-40 Minutes
Score: 5/10
