The Lego sets have been less available from my local charity shop, of late. When I see one, I am happy to pay a reasonable price, but the value is usually higher due there being less of them. Dealers are also ‘grabbers,’ and so collectors, kids or adults alike, miss out. So, onto this set…and what a doozy it is! The best bit about this purchase, and the reason that £6 was okay for a £9 set, when new, is it had a camel in the box. The previous owners had left a bit of the Minecraft Desert pack within. That little dude was staring at me with his blocky-eyes!

Please be careful when buying an open-boxed-set. You can’t be sure it’s all in there, and a fair price should reflect that! Turns out, with this one, there was no issue, it was already built! I decided to take it apart and experience the Space-Man model, instead. Building it up to the point I was about to make the back-pack, I stopped and pulled it apart. What a very poor model. One of the worst I’ve done in all of my reviews. I have only scored it 5/10, as the shuttle is a half-decent model. I rebuilt the shuttle and stayed with it.

This is a poor set! Pocket money is better used on another small build. There are a few that you can buy, in 2025, that cost the same, and will give you or the little-ones, more pleasure. In fact, as of writing this, buy two of the F1 mini-cars for £7, and keep the other £2! At least they can battle it out on the dining-table. So boring, so badly designed. It’s more of an after-thought, to be honest. Moving along!
First Impressions – A very uninspired set, even for the £5 this one cost me!
Price-Point – Average
Time to Build – 30-40 Minutes
