When I was in the Lego Shop, I spotted this set on the shelf. I hadn’t realised, when purchasing it, that it is essentially a ‘Battle Pack.’ It is like the others that I have looked at for other sets. If you were to create a space-scape, these would add to the fun and environment of the new Space sets. The colour scheme is sweet, and there is a general happy feel to it.

As I built them, it felt like I was opening a Lego City Advent Calendar, ot perhaps a box of different polybags for the new range. As a set, it is quite small and has little to be reviewed on, but as they have teeny builds, it’s a super set for a party gift. Most will enjoy the overall outcome and the aesthetic that it offers.

It is a little fiddly, but even with my large hands, I was able to assemble it. A child’s hands would be right at Lego’s aim, when getting started. Consider it a small add-on, rather than a key set. I do imagine, however, that they will look great on a kid’s shelf in their bedroom. Enjoyable and considerably lasting for the price.

First Impressions – Some little sets, a bit like having a box of different polybags.
