Bags One and Two: As I write this paragraph, I have just completed the first two bags of this build, so I thought I would write my thoughts as of this point, before its completion. It is built very much like the others, with the steady creation of a festive delight. The torso is built, with the other five bags for the legs, arms and head. I wonder if the seventh bag will just be his beard? I guess we shall see. Needless to say, I have given it 10/10, straight away. These figures are fantastic and well worth the value. What a great decoration to add to my display!

Bags Three to Seven: Just like the other large figures, this one has a special gift for keeping you building. Coming back to the build was like a train ride. Once the first bag opened, the figure started to form! It is an excellent set, but be warned, the body, legs and arms are just a rehash of the other ones. Thought is now just put into the head, so don’t expect anthing new to come from it if you have built another set of this type.

There is the usual easter egg found within the head, but I wont spoil it. It is a little basic compared to the others, but it is still sweet and offers knowledge of something that is hidden with the build. I do enjoy the design of the body and how the original team were able to create a basic, yet highly-functional, actuation of the limbs. It now sits pretty amongst the other builds. I will keep this one out, all year, there is no way that this is going away for eleven months of the year!

My eyes are set on the upscaled pirate figure, next. The problem with that is that I have to go to Billund for one. This is quite a collectible, and I would say that anybody would enjoy this, even for just that one month of the year. My Christmas decoration Lego is growing year on year. I like to opt for no tree, now, but have my late-wife’s Lego tree on display, already. This is my Christmas Week post, so a Merry Christmas to one and all. I hope the big guy brings you some fabulous Lego for the big day. For that matter, I would like some, too!
First Impressions – I adore these upscale figures, so I ,ove this one. This will not be the last one!
