Set Review – 60091 Deep Sea Starter Set (Find)

With all of the sets that I recently attained from the charity shop, there will be a lot of these posts. It’s another super find, but like many, it is missing a few parts. Saying that, most of it is here, and it is really sweet. This is less of a ‘whole’ set and more of City ‘Battle-Pack‘ style of addition. Having a shark, in with it, is just a bonus!

You won’t find anything difficult, here. It is clearly designed a parts accumulator for a childs collection. The ROV is simple, but a build that is a little more that what you would find in a Lego Calendar. Divers will make any diorama or play space, look the part. This set is from a a few years ago, where I am hoping to get my hands on the sea-base, one day. I do have the submarine in the Lego ‘finds,’ so will add them together for a keen looking display. If you see this, it’s work the few pounds that I paid for it, but don’t stretch to far for a used one. There’s not a lot to it, other than a small tabletop play kit.

First Impressions – A sweet adition to your collection, but not worth much, used.

Price-Point – Above Average

Time to Build – 20-30 Minutes

Score: 6/10
