I have fallen upon a large sum of used Lego, this week. Each one in a plastic-zip-bag. I did leave seven of them behind, and chose seven…or eight, for review, equaling a grand total of £47! This is the first set, from this haul, and it’s a Toy Story 4, one. Like a lot of these sets, it is a gamble, for parts, but having looked through its bag, it look legit. Amongst the cool rollercoaster track, it has a pair of minifigure. The first is the later version of Buzz Lightyear, and the latter, an alien. I have the Space Roller Coaster to build for a review, and will come back to it, in November, but this was the first of the Lego coaster-track that I have experienced, and it’s pretty cool.

The carts clip on either side, holding to the bars, even if the track is held upside down. It’s very basic, but so colourful, and quite the joyfully ‘short’ build. It presents little challenge, and would be perfect for younger builders. Often, the ‘found’ sets, are also retired, as is this one, but I have seen used, boxed, versions from £20-£30. I paid £8, for this, and it’s quite a gem for that kind of money. I don’t believe that it’s worth the £20, but that would depend on how much you want the Toy Story sets. If it’s anything like my need for ALL of the Animal Crossing sets, then you’ll want to grab this, should you see it in the wild!
First Impressions – What’s not to love about Toy Story? Basic, but fun!
