Set Review – 71049 F1 Collectable Cars

When I first heard about these coming out on 1st May, I thought they might use it to make them £5, each. But like the minifigures, they are set to the same price. The overall design of these is great, and any F1 fan is likely to want these on their shelf. I have a few, so far, and they seem to be selling, quickly. Looking over each one, they have their own little accents and can be used for racing around the lounge floor.

Opening the box, they use a fixed chassis, which is expected at the size and price. They have sweet colour styles that are akin to their counterparts. The one you see here, is the Aston Martin team car. I like them and just for simple vehicle play, they are like zooming around with an old Matchbox. Pick one up, see for yourself. I will likely buy a couple more and hold there. The nicest is the Alpine one, nice and colourful, and the Red Bull one, the colours speak for themselves.

First Impressions – An interesting collectable that is different, but a nice little build for the price.
