Whilst I was perusing the shelves at my local charity shop, I found this Prototype Tie Fighter Microfighter, boxed, sealed and ready for me to grab! This is one of the third generation offerings, with the Ghost being the one that I badly want from this range. As a retired set, this one was a bargain at £8. It was cheaper than when it was new, so I was quite pleased. The box art is always great on these, and I like the overall effect of a simple build mixed with a cool display model.

There is the usual quality found on this one, like all the other Microfighters. I have a few of these now, but always love to find unclaimed older models. Im now coining as, ‘A Crescendo‘ feeling. As you add parts, it forms and feels far too over-engineered. I like it! Like the others, it also has little to say, really, but I can help but say it is worth picking these up. From the first generation, to now, I would highly recommend them! There are no stickers, and offer a simple booklet to work from. The end result is another cool ship with a minifigure sitting atop of it. What a joy!

First Impressions – I do enjoy these Microfighters, especially a cool find like this on!
