Set Review – 75390 Luke’s X-Wing Mech

As far as Star Wars Mechs go, this is a fun one. I have this habit of picking them up, hoping to eventually get all of them. This will never happen as Lego will keep releasing them. Not a bad thing…I suppose. Although it is very much the same as all of the other, using the same parts to form the basic frame, the addition of the wings makes this unique. Saying that, what’s not to like when Luke is in the box, too? I do love how they have given the mech its own lightsabre.

I did make a mistake during this build. You might spot that I put the legs on the wrong end. This gave it a stance like that of Metal Gear Rex. Once it was straight, the clear focal point was that of the lightsabre. It’s quite a cool addition.

The overall build is a reasonable thirty minutes, each time, I am happy building them. I want to put them all together, even considering getting a second Stormtrooper, so that one can stand either side of Lord Vader. The only issue is that of review material. Because it is basic, it offers little to talk about, even though it is fun and quite the full-build. What else is there to say, it’s another great birthday gift, offered at £9.99, quite often. I would say, that as a collectible, the full £12.99 price-tag is still worth it. May the force be with you.

First Impressions – It is, yet again, a mech…I love them. As a set, it’s very much the same as all of the others.
