Besides the original Falcon micro fighter, the one with Chewy flying it, I have all of the other ones, and so, this was a must purchase. I love that they have used another one of the Jedis for this, and hope they continue with a few of the others. For now, this one is a gem. It is built very much the same as the others, but like my obsession for mech-builds, this never gets boring, either. The minifigure is spot on, and has a specially produced head piece for Plo. The structure of the ship is just as displayable as the others, and I am very pleased!
It sits on that price band that puts it just beyond what I class as pocket-money territory, but is of an average price when compared to other sets. It is, however, a great gift purchase. A birthday party will be awash with over-priced rubbish, but this one, will stand out. It’s difference in character choice wins every time, at least it would for me. Let’s see Ki-Adi-Mundi get his own ship, next!
In general, the small nature of this set leaves little to say, though it is a great build, short, but simple enough for anybody to enjoy. It looks great on the shelf, with the others, and is well set for some space-fighting. It’s a definite buy.
