Set Review – 76276 Venom Mech vs. Miles

I saw it, I grabbed it! Another mech in my collection and it has Venom at the helm, with Miles Morales swinging around its legs. I was keen, straight away, due to the fact it was only £9.99! Even at the standard £12.99, I would say this is a spot-on gift for anybody into their Lego builds!

It builds like any other mech, but has cool claws, making the hands big and scary. My first issue was with the amount of black and grey bits in front of me, made for some micro-part-hunting in the first twenty minutes! If I was to compare it to Luke’s X-Wing mech, this one is quite simple. Even so, it is a great build and benefits from it. It comes with a length of webbing that it attached to its back. I like that I can add Miles to the overall aesthetic, even opting for it to be placed within the clawed had, keeping the webbed hero well within the camera shot.

Very much similar to other reviews on these mech sets, there is little to give an understanding of, meaning that the basic ‘go get it’ is enough. Once you have built one, you have built most of them! I still maintain that you will not be disappointed. Although it is for my mech collection, it will be a great play piece and is fine as a stand-alone set. Best way to put it…it’s a ‘swinging’ purchase!

In loving embrace!

First Impressions – It’s a mech and it has two cool characters, what more’s needed?
