It’s another mech, I know, but this one is quite epic. I was a fan of the Ironman comics, in the 90s, and took a liking to War Machine as a side character. I eventually read the stand-alone comics, too. This was a must, especially as my local supermarket was dishing it out for a small, £9! There’s a bit to look at, but it consists of the standard disc shooters and a normal body frame.

What I love about this, is the hands. They have a feeling of a Terminator about them, mixed with the Iron Giant. This was enough to sell it and keep me happy. I first thought that there maybe stickers, but there weren’t. Winner! It was a nice build, making use of a few pieces that I hadn’t seen before. The feet were made up of pauldron slopes and curved tiles. I quite enjoyed this, just for the design output.

Even at the 12.99 standard cost, it’s worth the money and any kid will love the build and play options. Mix it with the Thanos one, and you’ve got a wicked battle to have. Lots of fun and lots for the dosh!
