Just to begin with…I LOVE THIS SET! (I only paid a bargain, £9.99 for it, too!) It was obvious that this was based around the Mario sets, an obvious Nintendo licence link, but it mean that the same fun is available. Where the Mario sets have a ‘digital’ essence to them, this one is plain old Lego, and it goes with the flow! The colours are divine and the figure is SOOOOO sweet! With NO stickers and paper bags, I was a happier bunny than the enclosed figure. Just a warning, however, make sure you push the sides of the bags, inward. It makes sure there is no pieces stuck within them.

Each section is built in turn, and you get a sense not unlike seeing a painted canvas coming together over time. This was quite a shock, but it, alone, has gotten me hooked. The instructions are written for a younger audience, applying a beautiful art style that is connected to the game’s aesthetic. If you like to play Animal Crossing, you will love this! It even offers you to create your own setup. Mix-and-match the plates into any order, and even give Bunnie different activities to do from the wooden box. You are shown the play options before you even finish the last plate. It jumps out as a set that wants to be played with, as soon as possible!

I have given this a reasonable build time, as it is better when enjoyed. It will make a great playset, for the younger builder, but it is just as sweet to look at. I have nothing to be irate about, so it’s a bit of a let down, if the negative as looked for. There’s even a couple of hidden bits that I won’t go in to, as you should see them when you build it, yourself. What a gem, the pictures show you all that needs to be said, but this one is a big thumbs up. Even the trees are satisfying! Watch out for more of these, I need them!
