It’s that time of year where we like to open little doors each day. The countdown to Christmas begins, and we are can see the true speed in which days drift by. As always, I have been opening my Advent calendars and snapping them, each day. Once again, this year is all about the Star Wars and City releases. So…what could be found inside?

So, there you have it. twenty-four days, twenty-four little builds. Overall, the Star Wars one was quite poor. I like the idea of a set forming from some of the days. I will, very likely, put them together to create the whole of Babu Frik’s workshop. But part of Star Wars Lego is the minifigures, and this is not overly unique, nor generous. The City one was the better one, this year. The minifigures are adorable and the scene setting is well put together. You can use these, any year, and if you see one cheap, get it and store it for the following Christmas. It’s Lego, can’t complain, too much! Merry Christmas!

First Impressions – The Star Wars Calendar looks a little basic, but the City one has some cool bits, ahead!
Price-Point – Average (Buy early to get them cheaper!) (There were some City ones going for £14 after the 1st.)
Time to Build – 24 Days
City Score: 8/10
SW Score: 6/10
