I’m always amazed by the stories of people receiving parcels from Amazon that are far bigger than necessary. The yarn about the bar of soap that is in packaging, twenty times its size. I have recently had one of these. The fact that it unnecessarily must sit outside my front door, ready to be stolen, for no reason, is quite annoying. On this occasion, it was a matter of feathers!
The box that arrived was approximately 60cm long, with a width and depth of around 18-20cm. The duster that was inside was around 45cm, with a diameter, when packaged, of about 3cm! This was rather an overkill moment, but it is likely that their packaging will not stretch to this kind of length compared to width! The best option would have been a tube, but I am certain that one of their paper envelopes would have been big enough, going corner to corner. Well, just a quick a rant, but it is funny when you see this kind of wasted space!
