The Bin Situation

Walking Brina back from the other side of town, I noticed something quite disgusting. In Stafford, I came across several bins, over the whole distance of our walk, that were ‘more-than’ over-flowing. Covered in doggy-doo baggies, coffee cups and wrappers, it was quite clear the the council were behind on this need. The two images show bins that were in the same spot, on the old railway track-bed. I found others in the park that is close to home.

What is this about? There are many things that they need to ‘cut’ to make-ends-meet, but this is not one of them. We are encouraged to pick up our dog’s doo-doos up, yet this is going to set that back. We should be tidying up after them; as a child, it was everywhere. I remember the days when the news was on about children getting worms from what had been left behind. This has to be sorted, I imagine there will be an article in the local paper, very soon. Just an annoyance that I wanted to air!
