With the new year on its way, I am planning to get some DIY done. As expected, much of it will likely involve dark spaces, so I thought that a work-light stand might be needed. I though about how I can use it and keep it in place. With a plan to floor and wall a loft space, I decided that a flexible-tripod would be best as I can fit it ot the rafters. The main fixing is standard, and can be used for a number of devices…including the work-light that I have planned. There is also a small spirit-level for getting the device balanced correctly.

This one was on offer, so I went for it. It seems to be of reasonable quality for the £11, odd, that I paid for it. It appears to have a goal to be a short selfie-stick, too. It comes with a extendable phone clamp and a small remote for taking controlling a phone’s camera. However, instead of hooking it up via BT, it has two separate buttons. One for iOS and one for Android. Only time will tell how it will do, I’ll review it, if it is great, or rubbish. But…I am sure it will do the intended job, just fine.
