As we coat up and snuggle through the Winter months, we tend to forget how warm the Summer can be. But there is one thing that manages to drive me crazy, every year, and for some reason, I forget it happens until it does it, the first time in the new year. Grass has a habit of growing! You mow it in the earliest of dry months, and then have to keep it going throughout. I am amazed at how quick it likes to grow, I am pretty sure that, at times, I can hear it…very likely mocking me!
It’s not that I am annoyed by the growth, nor am I annoyed by having to actually mow it, It’s more that, as it is warm, at the moment, it needs cutting every few days! Ultimately, I despise that it is long, and have to wait all Winter to be able to trim it down! This is not on. Can I write to my local politician to sort this out? I suppose it is why people have fake lawns or hardcore yards. They’re not the best for drainage, but at least they don’t need to be cut…thinking about it, though, you still need to power-wash it down…just a thought!
