Having many boxes of loose Lego has its downfall. It’s only of real use when it is separated out. Some might consider the need to sort by colours, or they might just be happy with the same type, together. Whatever it is, it makes sense to know where it all is. I have spoken before about my Sorting Station. This is under used, as long periods of time, picking at pieces, is monotonous. However, I have done quite a lot of it, making sure that Technic is set into its own box, ready to be split up, one again.

You might think that I am missing the main fun of Lego, and to you I’d say, ‘You are right!’ There is always room for a box of mixed Lego. The sounds of frustration are mixed with the clanking of bricks when looking for an individual part. As a collector, I am happy either way…unless it is Tehnic. I love to keep it specific, and even separated from the rest of the population. The case in the picture was started some time ago, and there is a lot more to go into it. Sorting through mixed Technic is annoying. It doesn’t have the same effect as other ranges, and therefore, being separated is vital for own-creations and conceptualising. I though I’d just chuck this in, as I have been thinking about it, of late. Whatever happens, I just love being surrounded by Lego…That is all!
