The Vyvyan Bicycle-Claw and 12v Tray

This is a bit of fabrication and practicality, all mixed into one. I wanted to be able to carry the road-bike, without damaging the chain-gear. This version is held via a pin, at the top. I fear that it won’t be strong enough, and so I shall rectify this in version two. Testing it on the claw, it is well placed, but the bike will need to be switched to facing backwards.

I found, but had forgotten, that the bike-stand came with an adjustable rod. This will be mounted so that it will stop the bike from swinging when on the move. I also need to strap the front wheel, this will stop it from turning. I have not, yet, dont a rolling test, but am sure this design will do what I need it to do.

Another add-on, will be that of a 12v battery. I will review the charger that I bought, later in the week, but I need to create a tray that will be placed on the underside of the right-rear seat. In time, I will add a solar-panel to the roof. (This will be recorded in a future post.) For now, I am slowly making the rear-interior of Vyvyan, a new ideal.

A whiteboard scramble. All set for building.
