Parking is always hard work, not to mention expensive! But it is quite infuriating when these machines play-up. What is it about the mish-mash of methods that are available to parkers? In some places, we are asked for simple coins, in others, we must use an online space to pay for it. Many places use apps that will save your preferences and registration…and this one has just joined that train! This machine is just easier to use when you accept the use of coins!
This machines has only just been given the ability to use card, but, there is one caveat! That is, the system is trash and the connection is clearly broken. Apparently, the software has been written to use the label ‘Select Card Fee’ to mean how long you want. Instead of just giving you a simple, ‘Select Time,’ you have to just guess this conundrum. To top it off, I can only assume that the payment is carried by a pidgeon, to the other side of the UK. It is staggering how long a payment takes to be cleared. That is my rant, for today. This machine hates me…that is all!
