This was another grab from Gumtree and a great one, too. Across town, I came across a great chap who was unable to work in his shed, anymore, due to surgery. For a whole £50, I got this little gem. It is small, at eight inches (20.3cm), and is more of a hobbiest tool, but it is great at the job it is made for. Cutting thin ply board is a breeze, and making lettering is what it does best. There is a small bend to the blade, if you are heavy handed, but step it back, and will work fine.

Thes are sold at around the £140 mark, and worth the buy if you want to keep things twee, so think about one if you are in the market for one. I imagine that a workshop that caters to model railways would be spot on. scenery would come together and even diorama creators would get the benefit. There is plenty of power in the motor and the blade it fully adjustable. Turning handles on the back adjusts the blade, with another moving the blade-guard, up and down. The front handles open the door so you can change the blade and the top one is for tightening and loosening it. There is also a switch for the in-built lights on the casing. What a great find!
