Unboxing the New Era

I have found my new calling…unboxing! Over the years, I have watched many Youtube creators and their wacky unboxing videos. I highly recommend watching the trash that Ashens comes across, as a starter. For now, I chose to do a post for this one, but might get uploading to the Youtube channel with unboxing VLogs. For this one, it’s the beginning of a new era…well maybe not that dramatic, but it’s so much fun. In fact, I have one waiting to be done for a VLog, so watch this space in the coming weeks, when there might be a video debut happening. On with the review…

In Cannock, Staffordshire, UK, there is a charity known as New Life, and one of the three main stores, is one called New Life+; where you will find shelving across the back wall. (There are other New Life stores in the UK, check out the website for more information.) On there, there are these boxes. Some have clothes and are labelled with age ranges, etc. I am only interested in the hardware, and even though this one is from Sainsbury’s, I knew it would be a lot of basic Temu-type items. So what did I find?

Acky Christmas Decs!
  • Fitness handles for corded weights. (I wanted some of these! (£7))
  • Audi and Hyundai Keyrings (£1.50)
  • Air-Fryer Quick-Start Guides (?)
  • Shoe-Liners (£2)
  • Garden Scissors (£3)
  • Silicon Finger-Gloves (Page turning tip-covers. (50p)
  • Golf Divet-Pryers (£3)
  • Kitchen-Aid Cook-Book (£10)
  • AdhesiveLeatherette Patches (£3)
  • Lace-Tips (£1)
  • Two French-Language Books (£2)
  • Shoe Stretchers (£5)
  • Metal Business-Card Holder (£2)
  • Christmas Decorations (Bin)
  • Three Children’s ‘Named’ Books (£50p)
  • Facial Bandages (50p)
What can tou spot in this haul?

There were a few bits that weren’t worth mentioning, but it was a fun haul. After a purchase price of £10, this box has a rough value of £41. The fact that much of it was useful was quite a surprise. I can’t wait to get another one open. I appreciate that there is an essence of gambling in this, so please be aware of this if you want to have a go. There’s no point in doing it if it isn’t fun, so enjoy it until it isn’t, an settle for watching others doing it. I wonder what the second box has in it?

(Prices are approximate as of: 7th September ‘2024.)
