In the Spring of 2017, I was tackling the issues that was ralated to my wife’s illness. I had suffered a hit of wild depression and found that I lay awake in the night. I decided to spend one of them creating BeingSTEM. I was up all night, adding articles and setting up the pages. This was a way to express my love of STEM.
Over time, I produced a lot of articles and tested ideas. I look at TSE being the child of this concept. I sadly removed the site. On a particularly hard day, I deleted it all, losing a lot of work. Mental health is a big deal and must be addressed. Coming out of the biggest slumps, I created the idea of TSE. For a while I had the domain ready and the webspace unused. In December of 2023, I began putting it all together. The video, above, gives an idea of what I was aiming for, originally, and what this is all about, now. (In the UK, Art was not considered part of STEM, but I liked to add it, so have made it a part of the plan. Since 2017, Art has been added more, which is great.)
If you are suffeing with mental health issues, please reach out. It is not the end and YOU matter! There is a list of services on Mind’s website, click here to head there, now.
