I wanted to mention the way that Lego is customising its instruction booklets. It seems somewhat interesting that they are phasing out much of the excess and moving them to digital; yet, we have designs that are unique to their accompanying sets. This one is from the Home Alone house. I built it, last year and will look at making a review of it in the coming months.

The front of it is a mock-up of Kevin’s plan to oust the Wet-Bandits. I love that it is used to create the link between the film and the set. Inside, there are some incredible images that take you back to the early 90s and the Christmas nostalgia fix that you didn’t know you needed. So, what is it all about? Most are moving to digital, slowly, but are. Come to think of it…what about those paper bags? They still have plastic in new sets! The paper bags work well, unlike the vile mini-figure boxes. In the last six that I have bought, they have all been duplicates…three of which, were the same!
