It’s another one of the finds from a few weeks ago. I picked this one as there was a plane involved. I have always been drawn to anything aviation, but in this case, I likes the dinosaur that was included. In truth, there is nothing really great about this set. I do like the velociraptor, but it is a mediocre set, at best.

We have the usual Owen Grady minifigure, accompanied by Sinjin Prescott. I enjoyed the extra wing on the plane, but am unsure about the preparations that Owen will have made before take-off. The little buggy is quite sweet, but there is nothing here that is too hard to build, and you could do a few ten-minute mini-builds, as time allows.

It is a playset, first and foremost. I can see children enjoying the action that may take place. The set dressing is not really needed, but does add to the effect of its environment. It’s only right to quickly mention the little saur, ready to run around and bite the velociraptor’s ankles. In all, it’s just ‘okay!’ If you can pick it up cheap, like I did, then you’re on a winner, but at a modern price of £37, it’s very steep. If you like the dinosaurs in this franchise, it might be the right one for you!
First Impressions – It’s another Jurassic World set, okay, but nothjing special…the dinosaur’s cool, though!
Price-Point – Average
Time to Build – 35-55 Minutes
