Find: 41333 Olivia’s Mission Vehicle

This was a nice find, today. My usual haunt had a few Lego sets in, so I thought I’d grab this one along with an old Classic box. Although the box was open, it is all in there, dust and all. At a grand cost of £5, it is not a bad find, with a complete set valued at £7-£9. This will be kept bagged up with its instruction booklet. The box is not worth keeping, and storing it would be more trouble than it is worth.

Although I am not a fan of the Minidolls, I do love the colours that Lego now offer due to the Friends sets. The little robot is an interesting addition. There are always some sweet animals in the Friends sets, too. This one has a small cat and a bunny…like…thing. Sorting through a few bags that I picked up, the other day, I found a hedgehog and an electric guitar. I look back at the basic Lego of the past, when ‘castles’ Lego was new, and pirates joined the sets of my youth, and am amazed at the veriety that is now available.

The fact that this is aimed at girls is a bonus, but I am happy with the pretty pinks and purples. Society creates a separated track for what is for a boy, and what is for a girl. Fortunately, the world is starting to accept that it is not always the case. If I want pink, I’ll have it! Back to the set, Olivia’s vehicle is a nice build, the colours are great and the freshness of a Friends set can be nice…for a change.

Condition: Dusty but complete.

Value: £7-9 (Paid £5.)
