I have never been a big wearer of goggles, when swimming. I understood the importance of them, but always found them to be finicky and leaky. I have used Speedo ones in the past, but I have now paid extra and bought some great ones. I tried them out, for the first time, today, and they did all 40 lengths, without leaking! Although not horrific, in terms of cost, they were a choice based on the fact they could be used for open and pool swims.
These are HUUB Acute Brownlee googles. At £30, they are the most expensive ones I have ever bought, but are not even close to some of the pool/open specific ones. I am so pleased with these, as the reviews were spot on. They even have different nose bands, so you can fit them to your face, properly. I used the largest one, as my head is huge! It changed the way I swim, added confidence and boosted my time over one length. No fogging and no slipping, the twin band means they can be lifted off without pulling at your eyeballs. A must have, and a quick mention, as they are epic!
