I have now been using this product for a few years, now, and want to give my verdict on how it performs. The first use was on the top of my PC’s monitors, allowing me to place the Star Wars Advent Calendar figures atop. The glue is strong and will stay in place under a lot of pressure. There is always enough in the pack, and it can be used to make some interesting Lego art.
Positives:
- Long enough for most applications
- Great colours
- Strong stick-to-surface
- Looks funky when in use
Negatives:
- Glue is hard to uncover after owning it for a time
- Tends to twist if cut into smaller strips
- You need to ensure the piece is secured to the scaffolding-studs
Overall, this is a good product, but I would advise to use it in the first six months. I got the feeling that the glue was going ‘off’ after this point. Using it in a 2×2 or 2×3 cut became annoying, when it would twist a little. If you are using it for displaying minifigures, a small degree of twist makes them look silly. On a lighter note, the colours are beautiful. There’s one for everybody, so you won’t be caught out. I can’t deny that it looks great as a long strip, and it means you can put pieces at any angle. It’s not a bad purchase if you want to display small elements of your builds.
