The local shops finally had the new minifigures on the shop floor, so I grabbed a pair. For Spider-Man fans, these are pretty great, but there is little to shine in their designs. I think the best is the little Spider-Baby in their papoose. Opening the two that I got, I was annoyed quickly by the fact there are two options for head gear. I understand that it allows for options, but now these small parts have to be kept with them so that their collectibility is held up.

I appreciate that this is a groan over nothing, with the key being play for our Spider-Kiddies. In reality, they aren’t terrible. I think that my own collecting prefers Lego’s own figures that spark unique outfits. I love food-based ones, so these are all a bit the same and not too different to the Polybag ones found on the Lego magazines. So, a quick note just to give you a glimpse of the new minifigure innards.I do like the hands that attach to the Prowler figure, though!
