I have made posts, in the past, about View-Master units that I gotten my hands on. My first one, in adulthood, is the sound-based one that I gotten for a tenner. I then got a cool, boxed, View-Master, from the local charity. My need for collecting the discs began with a set of Dukes of Hazard ones. It then went quiet…now…I found another 60s set at a collectibles store, in town.
This one is an original, paper-packed, set, from Hanna-Barbera’s, Top Cat. The packaging is great, offering a story to match the images, but the key is how good the images have been kept for all this time. For a fiver, this was a must. I have an affinity with Hanna-Barbera toons, anyway, having done my dissertation, some twenty-three years ago, on Scooby-Doo. What’s not to love about the characters they created, and what’s not to love about this gorgeous set of fine image discs? Fantastic find!
