I just wanted to use my platform to show irrational for the UK system of having separate companies putting roadworks furniture out. I just passed a setup that has nothing happening, due to the works not having begun. This means there is inconvenience for the sake of it. Who thought of this idea? Can you think of a better one? What about having the crew do it…just like the olden days?
I know that times change, but it seems overly ambitious for anything to really feel settled in 2026. As we took time to place everything in their own boxes, in the noughties, it feels like we have lost some key factors that helped us progress without fuss. I can’t say that the British have always been ‘spot on,’ but I do feel we could do better! That’s my two-cents!
