What can I say? I just love to build these mechs. They are all built in the same way, with a few expanding on the idea. Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing mech had the wings on his back, turning the mech into an imaginative version of the said fighter ship. This set is simple, but still a nice build for smaller hands. At £12.99, these are average, but given a little time in your wish lists, you will find these down to £9-£10, online. It has the usual placky-bags, which is a shame. I have become accustomed to having the pappy bags, now. Well, how did this go, then?

If you watch the ‘Build with G’ video, you will see that I took, around, 25 minutes to build. Given a steady time of, about, 35 minutes. I have found one issue with these, though. As I write posts about them, I have less and less to say about them, because once you have built one, you have built them all…almost. The majority of the pieces are the same, just the choice of printed tile on the front, and the colour schemes, to make up changes. This does mean that there are never any stickers, at least now, anyway, which is fantastic! The clone minifigure has a nice design and feels specific to its troop’s design.

This is a great gift purchase. Grab a pair of them and build them together. There are so many options for these, on the market, that this is one for everyone to enjoy. How long will it be before I build a Friends mech? What a great thought. Perhaps Tiffany could have her ‘fabby-purple’ mech ready for heading to town? Who knows, give it time, perhaps that’s an MOC (My Own Creation) for the future? I like this, but I would like to see a little more imagination added to them, now. There is a sense of shovelling them out. Whatever…I do love my mechs!
First Impressions – Much of the same build with no real extra bits. Still, it’s a fun build.
