
They are a simple metal frame with wooden battens filling in the gaps to create a worktop. This will be great for fitting my tools to them, allowing for a switch out system, depending on the tool I need, of course. Between the three sides, they will provide a worktop and storage on their underside. My plan is to keep the slide-saw on the lower shelf of the long bench. I look forward to getting these into their chosen spaces.


This post was going to be about a hand tool, until I realised that I had not written about my bargain workbenches. These were picked up for £50 and require a little welding and painting up. This is not a hard job and I am fortunate to have a small ARC welder. These will be placed against the walls in my workshop, once they are done.
