This is the second set, in a row, that I managed to get a little under the expected price. At £7.99, it is a pound cheaper, once again, than the Lego site’s price. Even so, this is a neat little set, with a basic build quality. Like most of these small, new, ones, it is filled with pappy-bags, so that is great! There are no stickers, so that’s another plus, with the overall design of the car, quite stylish, but simplistic. It is only a 5+ set, so is in keeping for most hands to give it a go. As another gift or ‘time-user,’ it is sweat enough to play with as well as add to your existing lego.

Like other EV-like builds, it has a small battery-cell tile in the back, where you will find a cool scoop-cover that sits over it. The glass dome is not liftable and simply comes off. The dude, inside, has his mobile phone and slick hair-doo. Due to the younger audience, this begins with a straight chassis, ready to build upon. The two-tone colours make this look tidy, even having some texturing on the sides. It uses cornered-transparent-tiles to make sleek lights, too.

This is not a game changer, but a nice build idea for anyone. It mustn’t be too bad, especially as I managed to build it without an error! Just its look is fast. Designers are clever when they can make a still object look like it is moving and this really achieves that. That’s about it, really, I would recommend it, but watch the Build with G episode that is linked below, to see how complicated it gets. If you see it cheaper, it is a worthy grab!
First Impressions – Another cheap build, if you can get ahold of one!
